Meet Dr. Huber and the Heart Behind Thornapple Dental Care

Dr. Huber didn't stumble into dentistry. She was drawn to it. Growing up outside of Detroit, she knew early on that she wanted a career where she could make a real difference in how people felt about themselves, and dentistry offered exactly that: a unique blend of science, artistry, and the ability to impact someone's confidence and health in a meaningful way.

Her path to becoming a dentist reflects the same work ethic and care she brings to every patient. She graduated at the top of her class from the University of Detroit Mercy's dental hygiene program, then spent three years practicing as a hygienist while completing her prerequisites at night. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2016, serving as class vice president for all four years. That background gives her a firsthand understanding of every layer of the patient experience, from prevention to restorative care, that most dentists simply don't have.

Today, Dr. Huber is Invisalign certified, an Hour Detroit Top Dentist honoree, and an active member of the American Dental Association, the West Michigan Dental Society, and the Michigan Dental Society. She is also currently completing Kois training, a continued investment in bringing the most thoughtful, evidence-based care to her patients. At the center of everything she does is a simple belief: every patient deserves to feel heard, cared for, and confident in their care.
